I came across this story last week and have modified it slightly. How often it happened that we came across an idea or thing that we want to try and do, but having taken the first step we do not follow through?
I heard this quote just the other day: Anything worth doing is worth following through.
A peddler stood in the city square and shouted, “My merchandise can change your life!” A crowd quickly gathered and the peddler displayed a cart full of mirrors.
“Preposterous!” cried the crowd. “How can mirrors change our lives? Most of the people scoffed and walked away.
A zen master and his student were watching a fox chase a rabbit.
The Zen Master said, “who will win?”
The student replied, “Master, of course the fox will win, he is much faster than the rabbit and has sharp teeth.”
“No” replied the master. “The rabbit will win. The fox is running for a meal. The rabbit is running for his life.”
Are you running for a meal, or are you running for your life?
If you start running for your life, you will overcome every obstacle.
So treat every business, every trade that you execute as if you are running for your life…

Are you ready to roar in the year of the Tiger?
As we celebrate Chinese New Year this coming weekend, let me wish one and all a Great, Prosperous and Healthy New Year.
Tigers are powerful creatures – strong, agile and graceful…
May all your dreams and aspirations come true in this Year of the Tiger…
How many Plum Blossoms would you love to get? Click and see them grow…
I grew up listening to Michael Jackson’s songs.
I was looking forward to his comeback performance in London in July this year.
